SH122 oil breaking anti-demulsification tester is used to determine the separation ability of petroleum synthetic liquid and water.

It is in line with GB/T 7605-2008 for the determination of breaking emulsification degree of turbine oil in operation and GB/T 7305-2003 for the determination of water separation of petroleum and synthetic liquid. The constant temperature bath adopts small cylinder block, which is easy to operate, accurate to measure and beautiful in appearance design. It is a new type of instrument introduced in China.

Oil demulsification: Under specified test conditions, an emulsion is formed by mixing equal volumes of the test oil and distilled water under stirring. The time required for separation (i.e., when the volume of the emulsion at the oil-water separation interface equals or is less than 3 mL) is measured. Only the separation time (in minutes) needs to be recorded; no calculation is required.

This instrument is suitable for measuring oils with a kinematic viscosity of 28.8~90mm²/s at 40℃. The test temperature is 54±1℃. It can also be used to determine oils with a kinematic viscosity greater than 90mm²/s at 40℃, but the test temperature is 82±1℃.
